After a splendid Christmas Lunch served by The Ingleby Arms from Amcotts, our Christmas celebrations took us to Grimsby Auditorium for the Panto. We started the New Year in a leisurely manner with a Quiz. We meet on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at the Methodist Church Hall. 2pm to 4pm. The Club welcomes anyone with a physical disability living in Winterton or surrounding area. Ring 733441 for further details of all our activities.
The Club has been successful in winning the £100 prize draw at a recent "Getting Ready for Winter" event organised by Community Action Partnership project. The money is to be used to deliver a community fuel poverty event in Winterton. This will be held on Saturday 18th March, between 2pm and 4pm at Winterton Trinity Methodist Church Hall. This will be a great opportunity to learn how to save on energy costs.
Another date for your diary is: Saturday 22nd April for a Charity Fair, 2pm to 4pm at Winterton Trinity Methodist Church Hall. As usual we will be inviting other groups to the event. Stall: £4 per table. Displays free of charge.
Sadly 2017 has started on a sombre note. Our oldest member Beryl Greenway passed away at the grand old age of 103. We will miss her bright smile very much. RIP Auntie Beryl.
